Christo: Here’s a little marketing tip for you. Use your email signature to announce new offerings. Add a call to action update. If you’ve got special offers running for seasonal periods and things like that, your email signature, not just the email signature that go out through like broadcast emails. Because broadcast emails usually our mindsets are uh, set on you know, promotion call to action offering, however, just your day-to-day email.

So yours and all of your team’s email signatures should be treated as something that you adjust. Treat it as like a, basically a piece of signage that you can update from time to time. For special offers. You might be emailing your car mechanic and they see a special promotion in the email signature.

Or one of your team is, you know, they’re emailing someone at the bank, and the person at the bank goes, oh, that looks interesting, I’ll buy that for my wife or I’ll buy that for myself. So, you update the email signature. Just as an example, in my own email signature, I have things like uh, listen to the Basic Bananas radio.

So if you want to listen to the podcast, um, watch Basic Bananas TV there’s tips on there. Join a free marketing workshop. I also have in there, um, here’s what um, one of our customers said, happy customers said about working with Basic Bananas and they’re from uh, their legal practise and how they say all the kind words about us as a testimonial.

So and we update it. So when we have upcoming workshops coming up we update the banners and we can update it for all team because a lot of more emails than you, you really think that you send a lot of email communication goes out all over the place. So it’s a good little thing to leverage.

Whereas most businesses they update their email signature once and it says like the, the person’s name, their title in the business and, and that’s it. Or a bit of branding, you know, so keep it fluent, keep updating it and use those email signatures. Have someone on your team who knows how to maybe use Canva, or if you’ve got a designer, they can update it.

You save the template, you can change it. You get all team to update their emails from time to time when you’ve got something to announce.
