Welcome back to the Basic Bananas book club! In this episode of BBTV, cofounder Franziska Iseli shares three more books that you need to add to your reading list!

Payoff by Dan Ariely

Invisible Influence by Jonah Berger

The Death of Bunny Munro by Nick Cave

Franziska: Hi and welcome back! Today, I‘m really excited to share with you three more books that I think are amazing.

Now the first one is by Dan Ariely, it‘s his latest book called Payoff. Dan Ariely also wrote a book called Predictably Irrational which is another must-read. In Payoff, it‘s a really short read and it‘s really easy to read and it‘s really fun. He talks about what motivates us. So what are the things that motivate us to take certain actions?

Another book that I just recently finished and again, this is probably one of my favorite newest books that I‘ve just read. It‘s called Invisible Influence by Jonah Berger. Again, Jonah Berger has another book called Contagious, which is also one of my favorite books. In this book here, he looks at what influences us to behave a certain way. It‘s full of studies, full of scientific research. It‘s a really good book for anyone who is interested in the human psychology.

The last one that I will share with you is a fiction book by Nick Cave. Now, this one is called Bunny Munro. Nick Cave, of course, is an incredible artist, an incredible musician and he is a very quirky character, as you may be already know. This book here is a great fiction book, it‘s really easy to read. I think it‘s quite a master piece how he is so eloquent with his words. It‘s a little bit dark at some times, too, but it‘s a good book to read if you are looking for a fiction book.

This is it for this week. Now, if you have any books that you can recommend, please share them below the video because I‘m always on the lookout for new things to read. Whether it‘s fiction or non-fiction. I love reading books. So I would love to hear your suggestions, too. If you also know someone who loves reading, maybe you can share this video with them also. Thanks again for watching and we‘ll see you next time.
